The rules for using the SueYou preview

Last updated October 30, 2026 · The Suing Company, LLC

Draft. No lawyer has reviewed this page yet. It describes the SueYou preview, and it will be replaced before SueYou opens.

1. The agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and The Suing Company, LLC ("we" or "us"). They cover sueyou.app, the SueYou web app, SueYou PRO and the iPhone demo. By using any of them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

2. A preview, not a service

SueYou isn't open to the public. The lawyers, cases, reviews, prices and payments shown are fictional. Nothing is filed, nobody is hired, and no money moves, even where a button says Hire, Pay, Sign or Send.

3. Not a law firm, and not legal advice

SueYou is a technology platform, not a law firm. Nothing on the site or in the apps is legal advice or legal representation. We don't recommend a lawyer, a legal strategy or a course of action.

4. No attorney-client relationship

Using SueYou doesn't make anyone your lawyer. That includes talking to the AI, posting a case, reading a quote or completing a demo checkout. What you enter isn't protected by attorney-client privilege.

5. The AI

The AI assistant isn't a lawyer. In this preview it follows a script, and it can be wrong. Don't rely on it for a decision about a real dispute.

6. Real deadlines keep running

If you have a real dispute, or you've received court papers or a notice, don't wait on this demo. Legal deadlines can be short, and missing one can cost you your rights. Contact a licensed lawyer, your state bar association or legal aid.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to information during this preview. It's part of these terms.

8. Who can use the preview

You must be an adult to use the preview. It's for personal evaluation only, and it isn't meant for use on anyone else's behalf.

9. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • enter real private information about you or anyone else;
  • post anything unlawful, threatening or harassing;
  • try to break, overload, copy at scale or misuse the site;
  • present anything here as real legal advice, a real lawyer or a real result.

10. Reviews, ideas and feedback

Every review and rating in the preview is fictional, and you can't post real ones yet. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you or owing you anything. Please don't send confidential information.

11. Ownership

The SueYou name, logos, design, text and software belong to The Suing Company, LLC or its licensors. You may view the site for personal use. You can't copy, resell or reuse any of it without our written permission.

12. Lawyers and testimonials

The lawyers, badges, ratings and example stories are invented to show how SueYou is meant to work. They aren't real people, endorsements or results. No outcome is promised.

13. Prices and payments

All prices are examples, and we don't take payment during the preview. See Fees and Refund Policy.

14. Links to other sites

The site may link to services we don't run. We aren't responsible for their content or how they treat your information.

15. No warranty

The preview is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it's accurate, complete, secure or always available.

16. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Suing Company, LLC isn't liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the preview, or from relying on anything in it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

17. Disputes and governing law

Not set yet. Which state's law applies, where disputes are handled, and whether arbitration applies will be decided with counsel before SueYou opens.

18. Help using the site

If you need help reading these terms or using the site, or need them in another format, contact us.

19. Changes, and our right to refuse

We may change these terms, change or remove the preview, or limit anyone's access at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version.

20. Before SueYou opens

These terms will be replaced before launch. The new terms will cover accounts, lawyers, payments and how disputes are resolved.

21. Contact
